Khanna says he would cut funding for further Iran war actions
Rep. Ro Khanna said Sunday that he would vote to stop funding for further U.S. military action in the ongoing war with Iran.[1, 2] Khanna, a California Democrat, made the remarks in an interview with Fox News Sunday anchor Shannon Bream.[2] He said the House and Senate should stop funding for any further actions in the Iran War, comparing it to how funding was stopped during the Vietnam War.[1]
The Daily Wire reported that Khanna said this even with American personnel still in the region.[2] The Hill reported that Khanna cited growing voter dissatisfaction with the ongoing war effort.[1]
