Remains found in Haiti during search for missing Salvadoran soldiers
Human remains were handed over to El Salvador's military teams at Haiti's airport during the search for four missing Salvadorans.[1, 2] The four men disappeared six days ago, after coming under attack by gangs on Oct. 18, according to the reports.[1, 2]
El Salvador's President Nayib Bukele denied that the bodies were those of his soldiers, saying they are "not our men."[1, 2, 3] El Salvador had sent hundreds of troops to find the four men.[1]
