Red Bull denies Aston Martin engine supply rumours
The rumours surfaced in post-race media sessions after the US Grand Prix at the Circuit of the Americas in Austin, where both Aston Martin and Red Bull representatives were asked about a potential engine partnership.[1, 4] Red Bull Racing developed its own power unit for the 2026 season in collaboration with Ford, a first for the team since it entered Formula 1 in 2005.[3]
RacingNews365 reported that Red Bull denied having serious conversations about supplying engines to Aston Martin, amid the Silverstone-based team's difficult first season with Honda.[6] Crash.net reported that Red Bull played down an immediate expansion of its customer engine programme while keeping long-term options open.[2]
