NASA seeks commercial space industry help to save Hubble
NASA is asking the commercial space industry for proposals to help save the Hubble Space Telescope.[1, 2] The telescope is in no immediate danger of burning up in Earth's atmosphere, The Verge reported.[2]
But its orbit must be boosted, or its time will run out in the early to mid 2030s, according to The Verge.[2] Mashable reported that the mission itself would not launch until 2032, but planning must begin soon if Hubble is to be saved.[1]
