Ricciardo open to racing return at Le Mans; Verstappen responds
Daniel Ricciardo says he would consider a return to racing for a one-off event like the Le Mans 24 Hours, speaking on the Beyond the Grid podcast.[3, 5] Ricciardo teased a dream-team lineup with former Red Bull teammates Max Verstappen and Sebastian Vettel.[3, 8]
Verstappen responded by joking that Ricciardo is a "smart man" for picking him in a potential trio for a future Le Mans challenge.[2, 5] Ricciardo has not raced since leaving Formula 1 for the second time, having driven for Red Bull's sister RB squad in 2024.[5]
