Schiff calls for Hegseth to testify on Starlink slowdown in Ukraine
Sen. Adam Schiff said Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth should testify before the Senate about the Starlink satellite slowdown in Ukraine.[1, 3] Schiff made the call on NBC News's "Meet the Press," telling host Kristen Welker that if Democrats regained control of the Senate, Hegseth should face questions.[3] The slowdown disrupted Ukrainian military operations and the country's battlefield capabilities, according to The Hill and NBC News.[1, 3]
Ukraine said access to the service had been restricted without advance warning, disrupting battlefield operations.[2] Schiff said "somebody is lying," Newsweek reported.[2]
