Hadjar warned for pushing fan in Mexico GP paddock
Red Bull driver Isack Hadjar received a formal warning from Mexico Grand Prix stewards for pushing a fan in the paddock at Autodromo Hermanos Rodriguez.[69, 125] Motorsport.com reported Hadjar was approached by a fan attempting to take a picture and shoved away twice, ahead of opening practice on Friday.[69] He had been summoned to a Saturday hearing over an alleged incident of misconduct with a fan.[52, 101]
Separately, Haas replaced Esteban Ocon with reserve driver Ryo Hirakawa for the remainder of the Mexico City Grand Prix weekend.[11, 21, 95] Hirakawa will make his Formula 1 debut, driving alongside Oliver Bearman, having previously served as Haas's reserve driver.[11, 119] ESPN reported Haas gave no explanation for the change; Crash.net reported Ocon had been involved in a dispute with his race engineer on Friday.[26, 44]
Why it matters Haas will run reserve driver Ryo Hirakawa in final practice, qualifying and Sunday's race in place of Ocon.[11]
