NHL and Fanatics unveil 32 Hometown Remix jerseys
Fanatics and the NHL unveiled Hometown Remix, a leaguewide special-edition uniform, apparel and headwear program with a custom jersey for each of the 32 teams.[1, 6] The collection uses font, color and symbolism to pay homage to the history of each team's home city, and was designed in-house by Fanatics.[6] The Washington Capitals' jersey features a deep blue hue and the "Screaming Eagle" logo on the shoulders.[4]
ESPN and The Athletic each published rankings of all 32 jerseys, with The Athletic's panel showing little consensus on the best design.[5, 7] The New Jersey Devils' jersey draws on local New Jersey pride and is available to purchase, according to The Political Insider.[3]
