Musk tightens Grok Bot usage limits, citing 'unsustainably high' costs
Elon Musk said Sunday on X that Grok Bot users would face tighter usage limits because the cost of serving the AI agent was 'unsustainably high relative to revenue.'[1, 3] The move came less than two weeks after SpaceX said Grok Bot had reached 800,000 paid weekly users in early October, more than double the previous month.[2] Musk recently called Grok Bot the fastest-growing product he had ever seen in his life.[4]
Why it matters Grok Bot users will run up against usage limits more quickly than normal.[3]
