Trump offers $1 million reward for voter fraud tips
President Trump announced Monday that anyone reporting voter fraud in past elections or the upcoming 2026 midterm election will be paid $1 million if the report leads to an arrest and conviction.[1, 4, 7 +1] The Washington Examiner reported that the administration will pay tipsters whose reports result in convictions, about a week before polls close in the midterms.[7] It is not clear where the money for the reward would come from, according to ABC News.[2]
Separately, Forbes reported that the Trump administration sued preemptively to overturn the results of Alaska's Senate race if the Republican candidate loses.[3] Raw Story reported that the administration is reportedly preparing a lawsuit challenging election results in Alaska and weighing suits in several other states with close Senate races.[1]
