University of Michigan student arrested after shoving conservative influencer at campus event
A University of Michigan student shoved conservative influencer Liz Benichou to the ground Sunday afternoon during a pick-up-the-mic debate on Iran and women's freedoms in Ann Arbor.[4, 5, 6 +1] The New York Post reported the student was arrested after the incident.[6] The Daily Wire identified the student as Temulun Togochog and described her as a supporter of Abdul Mohammad El-Sayed.[7]
Benichou, a conservative Jewish activist, vowed not to be silenced after the attack, according to Fox News.[5] Conservative Review and Blaze Media reported the encounter was caught on video.[2, 4]
