Polish opposition leader floats EU exit talks to force change
Jaroslaw Kaczynski, leader of Poland's largest opposition party, said starting talks to exit the European Union would be a way for Poland, the bloc's biggest eastern member state, to force change within it.[2] The suggestion comes a year before Poland's general election.[3, 4] Kaczynski's party led Poland between 2015 and 2023, a period that brought major conflicts with EU institutions over the rule of law and human rights, according to Fortune.[3]
