Scottish police investigate Andrew's Balmoral stays with Epstein and Maxwell

Police Scotland is investigating Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor's stays at Balmoral with Jeffrey Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell, saying it received information and has active inquiries ongoing.⁠[3, 5] The force said the inquiries are at a very early stage and are focusing on the needs of victim survivors.⁠[12] Balmoral is the royal family's private estate in Scotland.⁠[3, 4]

Some reports, citing the Daily Express, say the inquiries relate to allegations that women were trafficked to the royal residence.⁠[2, 6, 8 +1] Images released earlier this year by the U.S. Department of Justice appeared to show the former prince on a shooting trip at the estate with Epstein, NBC News reported.⁠[7]
