Alexander brothers each sentenced to 30 years for sex trafficking
Twins Oren and Alon Alexander, 39, and their brother Tal Alexander, 40, were each sentenced Tuesday to 30 years in federal prison for sex trafficking in New York.[3, 6, 15] The three luxury real estate brokers were convicted earlier this year of a sex trafficking conspiracy involving drugging and raping dozens of women over more than a decade.[4, 7, 15] Federal prosecutors asked the judge for the maximum sentence of life in prison, while the brothers asked for 15 years.[5]
The Los Angeles Times reported the accusers who spoke were among at least 70 women prosecutors say were assaulted by one or more of the brothers over the last two decades, including in the Hamptons and Aspen, Colorado.[16] The New York Post reported that the brothers' model wives and parents did not attend Tuesday's hearing, except for one family member.[12]
