Ricciardo open to racing return at Le Mans, Verstappen responds
Daniel Ricciardo says he would consider returning to racing for a one-off event such as the Le Mans 24 Hours, speaking on the Beyond the Grid podcast.[3, 4] Ricciardo teased a dream lineup with former Red Bull teammates Max Verstappen and Sebastian Vettel.[3, 6]
Verstappen responded that Ricciardo is a "smart man" for picking him in a potential trio for a future Le Mans challenge.[4, 6] Ricciardo has not raced in any series since leaving Formula 1 for the second time, having driven for Red Bull's sister RB squad in 2024.[4]
