Early voting tops records days before Tuesday's midterm elections
Early voting has hit record levels days before Tuesday's midterm elections, with more than one in five registered voters already casting ballots.[15] Polls show Democrats leading the race for Congress, though tight Senate contests leave control of the chamber uncertain before Election Day.[23]
The RealClearPolitics polling averages showed Democrats leading in six of eight toss-up Senate races as of Thursday night, according to the Washington Examiner.[32] The Cook Political Report moved a dozen House races toward Democrats just days before Election Day, and Forbes reported it predicts Democrats will flip between 12 and 25 seats.[18, 31]
